Barcelona‘s acting coach Sergi Barjuan has called on two youngsters Abde Ezzalzuli and Alvaro Sanz to train. With the first-team squad ahead of Saturday’s clash with Alaves.

Barcelona interim coach Sergi Barjuan has summoned two youngsters from Team B. Abde Ezzalzuli and Alvaro Sanz, to train with the first-team squad as they prepare. For the game against Alaves on the Liga stage this Saturday. As reported by Mundo Deportivo on Friday. 

Barcelona have appointed Sergi Barjuan, the 49-year-old Barcelona B coach. As interim manager of the first team following the sacking of Ronald Koeman on Wednesday. The former Azul Grana left-back coached the team for the first time since Thursday before calling two young players from the youth team to train on Friday morning. 

Abde is a 19-year-old left winger of Moroccan origin, who joined from Hercules last summer for €2m, and has played for Barcelona B this season. He has been in six games, while 20-year-old midfielder Alvaro Sanz has been at the club since 2015 and has stepped up to play for Barcelona B this season. 

‘It’s true that they had a chance. There were many injuries. And we need to try to balance the team to make up for the missing.’

‘These two players might give something to the team and we’ll see,’ Sergi said of the two youngsters.

According to reports, both Ansu Fati and Sergi Roberto are in separate training sessions and are expected to miss out on Saturday, along with Frenkie de Jong and Pedro Gonza. Les López Pedri, Ronald Araujo and Martin Braithwaite, while Ousmane Dembele is still subject to a reassessment.
